What is Jailbreak ? Jailbreaking your iOS device is when you remove the limitations that Apple places on its devices. There are two kinds of limitations—hardware and software—but both can be removed with jailbreaking your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. To understand how to jailbreak an iOS device, you first need to know what jailbreaking does and how it’s done. We’ll cover both in this article…
What is Jailbreak ?
What does jailbreaking mean, exactly? Simply put, jailbreaking allows you to use your iPhone or iPad without Apple’s limitations. There are many benefits to jailbreaking such as access to unlimited apps and games with Cydia App Store. As well as accessing more complex options on your phone like setting a different screen brightness and changing your passcode. The best part about jailbreaking is that it’s free; if you own an Apple device there’s no reason not to do it!
How to know if your device can be jailbroken
The only surefire way to know if your device can be jailbroken is to jail break it, but there are some simple ways to tell if your device has what it takes. Jailbreaking an iPhone or iPad will void its warranty, so you should only go through with it if you’re comfortable with that fact. That said, if you’ve been using iOS for a while and don’t plan on upgrading any time soon (or ever), then jailbreaking may be a good option for you.
How to jailbreak your iOS device
Although jailbreaking your iOS device may sound scary, it’s a relatively safe process. First, you will need to make sure that your device can be jailbroken; if you have an older version of iOS on your device, you may not be able to use a jail break tool. If you have a newer iOS operating system on your phone or tablet, and your hardware can handle it, here’s how to jail break your iPhone or iPad safely.
1. Make sure your device is updated to its latest software: In order for you to use a jail break tool, your iOS device must be running its latest software update. To check what version of iOS you are running, go into Settings > General > About > Version. Next, head over to Apple’s website and download any updates available. If there aren’t any updates available for your specific model of iPhone or iPad, then you should proceed with jailbreaking your device.
2. Turn off Find My iPhone/iPad: Before jailbreaking your device, you should turn off Find My iPhone/iPad in case anything goes wrong during the process. You can do so by going into Settings > iCloud and disabling Find My iPhone/iPad.
3. Download Cydia Impactor: The next step is to download Cydia Impactor onto your computer from our Downloads page (link below). Once downloaded, open up Cydia Impactor and connect your iOS device via USB cable to your computer.
4. Use Cydia Impactor to install your jailbreak app: Now that you have connected your iOS device to your computer, it’s time to use Cydia Impactor to install a jail break app called Yalu102. This app was created by Luca Todesco and allows users with 64-bit devices such as iPhone 5S, 6 and 6 Plus models running iOS 10.1-10.2 beta to perform a semi-untethered jail break on their devices. Simply drag and drop Yalu102IPA.ipa onto Cydia Impactor, enter your Apple ID email address when prompted, and hit start. Cydia Impactor will begin installing Yalu102 onto your device.
It might take a few minutes depending on how fast your internet connection is, but once finished you should see an icon for Yalu appear on your home screen. 5. Open Yalu102 and click jail break: After using Cydia Impactor to install Yalu102, simply open up Yalu102 from your home screen and click jail break. The app will ask you to confirm that you want to continue; after doing so, it will reboot your device. 6. Wait for your device to finish rebooting: Once you see a Jailbreak Succeeded! message pop up on your screen, you can close out of Yalu102 and wait for your device to finish rebooting.

Will you lose warranty by jailbreaking?
No. While there are some risks, most people don’t have problems with it and, of course, it’s impossible to lose your warranty for jailbreaking. Any modification to your iPhone will void its warranty but that has nothing to do with jailbreaking itself. If anything bad happens to your device after you jailbreak it, Apple won’t be able to help you – and neither will anyone else.
Can you get rid of the jailbreak easily?
Mobile devices that have been jailbroken can be really useful. That being said, uninstalling Cydia isn’t exactly easy and more than a few people find themselves locked out of their device because they didn’t know how to return it to its original state. However, you do have other options and methods for removing these tweaks, or re-installing them in future.
The first thing you should try is rebooting your device. This will allow you to log back into your account without any issues and will also remove any installed tweaks from memory so they aren’t loaded when your device boots up again. If rebooting doesn’t work, then you may need to perform a factory reset on your iPhone or iPad.
This should get rid of all installed apps as well as all changes made by jailbreaking tools like Cydia. You won’t lose any data if you use iCloud backups, but if not you’ll need to backup your data before proceeding with a factory reset. You can then restore your device after performing a factory reset. Once restored, simply login with your Apple ID and password and everything should be back to normal.
Is Jailbreaking Your IOS Device Safe?
Before you decide to jail break your device, it’s important to understand what it is and how safe it is for your phone. While many people have seen other people doing it and are eager to do so themselves, you should also ask yourself: why am I going to jail break my device? Is there a specific app or game that I want that isn’t available on Android or iOS? If so, then go ahead and jailbreak your device. If not, then don’t bother—it could be dangerous for both your device and data.
So, all in all it will be safe to use jail break to unlock your IOS device. There are many safety measures you should consider when using jail break. Jailbreaking can be both a useful and dangerous process for your smartphone or other smart devices. You should only use it if you know exactly what you’re doing, because misusing it can render your device completely useless.
Luckily, there are already many tutorials online, which describe how to avoid these misuses of technology by following a few simple steps. We hope that we were able to help you make an informed decision about whether or not jailbreaking is right for you.
